——————— ■ "jibmBIIeP SB JOCKEY BILLY FLOYD— Has signed to ride for the Woolford Farm stable. Milkwagonjoe and Bullish Head Seven Seeking Dolly Val Purse Each to Take Up 779 Pounds In Sprint Event on Todays Lincoln-at-Hawthorne Card HAWTHORNE, Cicero, 111., May 19.— Three-year-olds hold top billing on tomorrows card at the Lincoln Fields-at-Hawthorne meeting when seven of that age division are matched in the six and a half furlongs Dolly Val Purse. This is an allowances test for a prize of ,500 nd it will bring several of the contestants to the post for the first time this year in this sector. A gallop of a mile and a sixteenth for horses four years old and older titled the Signator, is the best of the supporting races. This is also under allowance conditions for a ,500 purse and is offered as the seventh race. Under the conditions of the Dolly Val, Lou Schlossers Milkwagonjoe and Mrs. Emil Denemarks Bullish are compelled to carry equal top weight of 119 pounds. Milkwagonjoe won three of his nine races as a two-year-old and comes to local competition from a campaign in California where he was winner of a race in January. His trials have been excellent and unless he needs a conditioner to bring him to peak racing condition, he should give a good account of himself here. Bullish has not started this year and will come to this engagement thoroughly freshened up. The son of Bull Lea was consistently close in his engagements at the end of last season and dockers report that he has done all asked of him in trials. Gotham Arrives From Downs Shady Brook Farm has named Gotham to the feature and this recent arrival from Churchill Downs may make his presence felt. While he has not entered the winners circle this year, he has been matched with stout adversaries and may find this competition more to his liking. Virden and Scott will be represented by Siddons, a son of Remolino, who might be better than generally thought. His chief recent recommendation for consideration here was an easy score at Sportsmans Park in the six and a half furlongs Riverside Purse. Kurkjian and Dilgers Studio Play could do no better than third to Siddons in the Riverside Purse at Sportsmans, but the fleet daughter of Grand Slam accounted for two races at the half-mile oval previous to that engagement. Clyde Troutts Busy Pony was unplaced in his first race of the season here on Saturday and might improve off the effort. He won two races in 22 starts last year. Vinita Rev completes the Dolly Val field, and Mrs. G. Emicks representative will have to show improvement to score over this opposition. The field in the Signator is brimful of potential competition. F. P. Aimes Sassy Patricia, Mrs. Sam Gorbets Walloon and Star Graduate, who races for Mrs. V. A. Guercio and Mrs. J. H. Rutter, are recent winners. They are matched with L. and W. Slavins Lou Jay S., I. C. Mishlers Baby Gold, L. O. Handleys Four Tens, and H. W. Ostles Donna Brand.
