Maryland Notes i 1 PIMUCO, Baltimore, Md., May 1. Trainer R. F. Curran reported that Robert M. Woods High Frequency, three-year-old filly, had been shipped to Jamaica to run in Wednesdays Prioress Stakes at the New York course. She will ,be ridden by Chris Rogers. - Mrs. James Carsons Kinsman, a candidate for Preakness honors, worked a half-mile through the mud this morning, going handily in :49%. During the last 10 runnings of the Preakness Stakes, from 1940 through 1949, six favorites have scored in the rich three-year-old special. Bimelech, Whirlaway, Al-sab, Count Fleet, Pensive and Citation were the public choices in the Preakness. Those not favorite and who scored were Polynesian, Assault, Faultless and Capot. Eugene Dosher, an apprentice rider who will ply his trade during this meeting, has three more winners to ride before he becomes a full-fledged jockey. He has reached the winners circle 37 times. Mrs. James Carsons Kinsman, who developed into a prominent three-year-old during the winter season in Florida, but has been the victim of poor racing luck this spring, breezed a slow three-eighths on in :39%. Kinsman, who is probable starter in the Preakness, was a bang-up third to Sunglow and Greek Ship in the Chesapeake Stakes.
