Turnbull Injured LINCOLN DOWNS, R. I., May 1.— Jockey Willie Turnbull was injured in the starting gate in the third race here today r when his mount, Tight Grip, slipped and 1 fell in the starting gate, injuring the rider r and himself. The horse was ordered withdrawn " and all monies refunded. Turnbull 1 was taken to a local hospital for x-rays s and further examination after having received first aid at the track.
