. Bone Eyes Jockey Win Mark LINCOLN DOWNS, Lincoln, R. I., May 1. — Apprentice Frankie Bone, who has come up with 45 winning races to date, with six days yet to go in the current meeting, is in a fair way to establish some sort of a record for jockeys at a New England track. His 45 thus far brings his 1950 total to an even 100 and he ranks as the second leading rider of the country, trailing Joe Cul-mone, now at Garden State Park, by a mere six. During the spring meeting at Lincoln in 1948, Clarence Picou startled New England fans by walking off with top honors with 44 trips to the winners circle, and was considered the sensation of the year. Bone has surpassed that already and could easily run his total to 60.
