Asks Veto on German Steel WASHINGTON, D. C, May 13 UP. — Five Senators reported tonight that they have asked Secretary of State Dean Ache-son to veto proposals for increased German steel production. In a letter addressed to Acheson at the foreign ministers conference in London, they also advised him to be wary of any plan to give greater independence to Western Germany. The signers were Senators Guy M. Gillette D.r la., Harley M. Kilgore D., W. Va., Herbert H. Lehman D., N. Y., Irving Ives R., N. Y, and Robert C. Hendrickson R., N. J..
