Qualifies for 500 Miler INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., May 14 UP.— Freddie Agabashian, Albany, Calif., was the first driver to qualify for the 500-mile race on Memorial Day at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, turning the 10-mile qualification laps at an average speed of 132.792 miles per hour Saturday. Jack McGrath, Alhambra, Calif., was the second, spinning the four laps in 132.868 mph.
