Yonkers Wars on Insects YONKERS, N. Y.. May 13. — Yonkers Raceway underwent a chemical cleansing last week when a new fog process, to exterminate all insects, was screened over the entire layout by order of President William H. Cane. The fog, which is harmless to humans, animals and foodstuffs, is aimed solely at possible breeding grounds of insects. Under the method employed, the entire track was isolated by the chemical process, which should keep the Raceway free of bugs for the balance of the spring campaign.
