Mitchell Signs Grid Pact NEW YORK, N. Y., May 13 UP.— Paul Mitchell, 240-pound tackle, came to terms today with the New York Yanks of the National Football League and will open his fifth year of professional football this fall. Mitchell played with the Los Angeles Dons of the Ail-American Conference in 1946 and 47, then went to the New York Yankees in that circuit. He stands six feet, four inches tall and is one of the leagues "iron men."
