Ed Dyrlie, of Pinkertons N.Y. Racing Service Dies BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L. I., N. Y.. May 13. — Ed Dyrlie, in charge of personnel identification for Pinkertons New York Racing Service for the past ;five years, died as a result of a heart ailment at 6:00 p. m. on Friday after a brief illness. Dyrlie, a quiet, efficient worker, probably knew more faces and names of racetrackers than any man in the sport. He served in the New York City Police Department for "20 years with an excellent record before joining the Pinkerton Agency. He leaves his wife, Frances Drylie, a daughter and son. A funeral mass will be conducted at 10:00 a. m. Tuesday at the Church of the Incarnation, Jamaica.
