SUFFOLK DOWNS NORCAL — A promising juvenile being trained by .Eddie Hawthorn. Last suggests an early victory. LAZY PAT — Was in repeated trouble in most recent effort. May be one of the better juveniles on the grounds. NEDS CHOICE— A non-winning three-year-old who should not tarry in the maiden class. Closed stoutly in last. U. S. KNIGHT — May prove a successful claim for trainer Tom Barry. Is capable of beating top sprinters on the grounds. COUNTESS IN — Has displayed the best form of any filly or more to compete thus far at meeting. Should continue success. U. S. BOUND— Needs only to keep his mind on running to be a winner. His urged to savage opponents nearing the finish cost him a race in his last start. TUBBY B. — Showed signs of returning to winning form with a good move when beaten off in last. GORGET— This aging veteran continues to flash his winning form and will be hard to beat at present level. QUIZ ME— A two-year-old in the Palatine Stable who is sure to improve off lone start. BY ROAD— Is better than last would indicate. May have needed that race to ready for winning effort. DUKE REED— Needs an off track for his best performance. ASSASSINATOR— Lost all chance in last when bothered leaving the barrier. Should make amends against same caliber BURNT PAIR — Needs only to break alertly to account for a purse against same type that defeated her in lone outing here.
