N0WL0GGIN was allowed to race freely close to the early pace and, taking command when mildly urged, drew out on the backstretch but was forced to do his best near the end to hold FRANK MUNNS. The latter moved up very fast nearing the stretch turn and, although racing wide in the stretch, was pressing the winner. BLITZEN LADY made a fairly good run in the last quarter to easily dispose of the remainder.
