Derby Trainers Dinner Set For Tonight in Louisville CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville, Ky., April 30. — The "Derby Trainers Dinner," always one of the highlights of Derby week, is to take place tomorrow evening at the Roof Garden in the Brown Hotel. This affair, sponsored annually by the Kentucky Thoroughbred Breeders Association, brings out the horsemen colony in full strength and president Charles Jones, of Bashford Manor Farm, stated today that a pleasant evening is in store. Festivities will get under way at 6:15 p. m., when cocktails are to be served and the dinner is to begin promptly at 7 p. m. Clifford Lussky and former KTBA presidents Wathen Knebelkamp and Roscoe Goose are aiding Jones with program details. Visiting members of the press and radio are to be special guests along with the Derby candidate trainers and some excellent stories, some of which may be "tall," are in store for the news and mike men.
