Cubs-Sox Annual Mid-Season Night Tilt Scheduled July 9 Cross-town rivalry between the Cubs and I Sox will be renewed the evening of July 9, when the two clubs meet at Comiskey Park J during the three-day interim brought on i by the annual All-Star game. This will be the second game of the mid-season series that began two years ago, when the North Siders edged the Hose, 4 I to 2. No game was played last year, because Comiskey Park was the scene of the All-Star classic. Under the joint auspices of both Chicago clubs, the games proceeds will go into the administration of the Cubs Baseball for Boys, Inc., and White Sox Boys Welfare Fund, Inc. Receipts from the 1949 game [ were used to provide facilities for the same purposes. Mail orders for the game are now being r accepted and tickets wil be mailed at a 1 later date. Checks should be made out to the Chicago White Sox and letters addressed to the Cubs-Sox Game, Comiskey Park, 35th St. and Shields Ace., Chicago 16, 111. Box seats are priced at .00; I grandstand, .25, and bleachers, 60c.
