ULA sprinted into a comfortable lead soon after the start, was roused through the stretch and held on gamely to the end. GAMS, forwardly placed, rallied mildly, but was not good enough. POSER had no mishap. OUR DODO closed well along the inside. KNIGHTS DOLL passed tiring horses. FIRESONG flattened out when put to pressure. OCEANIA lacked e?rly speed. WHIM WHIZ showed nothing. ADORANT tired. The others were outrun JEAN METER UNSEATED HER RIDER AND RAN OFF SIX FURLONGS. SHE WAS ORDERED SCRATCHED AND ALL WAGERS ON HER WERE REFUNDED. RINGNECK broke alertly, was eased back off the pace and placed under steadying restraint to the final quarter mile, regained command and drew out gradually. BROWNSKIN assumed command scon after the start, saved ground throughout and held on stubbornly. BLUE FOX rallied mildly on the final turn, but was unable to menace. BLUE SAGE, a forward factor along the inside, lacked a closing rally. WISH EGAN passed tiring horses. GOLDEN MEAN went evenly. IN A BREEZE sped to the front at once, ope;ied a icng lead, was placed under late pressute and lasted over NOLA HASH. The latter improved position gr?dualiy along the inside, responded to late urgirg and closed with good energy. LAST LAP, well up on the outside, had no mishap. SILVER LAMEE came between horses entering the stretch was steered to the outside, but lacked a late rally. EASY PADDY weakened. CHACMA forced the early pace and drifted out badly through the stretch. GAME DAL went evenly. HATTER WAR tired. EASY DUST and IRISH BIRTHDAY shewed nothino. The latter steadied close to the pace, rallied to take a short lead in the sttetch and just missed. DAUGHTER C. rallied mildly in the late stages. BULVERDE, slow to settle into best stride, slipped through along the inside and closed well ANNS STEP tired after setting the pace to the final furlong. HAPPY BOUND weakened forcing the pace. JUDYS RUNNER steadied within striking distance of the pace, slipped through along the inside when leaders spread out on final bend assumed command under pressure and drew clear. SPEEDY BABY reserved close to pace, came between horses to take short lead in the stretch and continued on gamely. DAUNTEDID steadied down the backstretch engaged leaders on final bend, was unable to draw clear and weakened. CHARING ROCK close up on outside, lacked a closing rally. RELATED showed good speed early, dropped back after three furlongs, was roused and was closing weM at end. EQUIHAZE flattened out after forcing the pace. MARYMIGIRL forced the pace, remained close to the leaders on the turns, assumed command when roused and withstood a sustained drive from SAM H. The latter, well placed throughout, came to the outside when put to a drive, drew close to the leader then appeared to hang. I TRUST walked from the barrier, was steadied not too far off the pace rallied mildly but was unabie to reach the leaders. JOHNS CHOICc, taken back and steadied, came through along the inside but lacked a late rally. ALTHOR set the pace for six furlongs, weakened near the end UGLE CHILE never far off the pace, came to the inside in the stretch, brushed SAILING HIGH, then failed to make up ground. WAR RIPPLE responded well when put to pressure and finished with good energy. CULGURA moved after a mile, came through on the inside to take command, drew clear then faltered DINNER PARTY was sent up on the outside to engage the leader but had nothing left. LOU JAY S had no mishap JALOPEE weakened. HIPPODROME set the early pace, raced wide on the turns and tired.
