Jordan Elected President Of Illinois Breeders Assn AssnHAWTHORNE HAWTHORNE Cicero HI June 10 D Elmo Jordan was elected president of the Illinois Thoroughbred Breeders Asso ¬ ciation at the organizations annual meet ¬ ing held in the track restaurant at Haw ¬ thorne last night He had been secretary of the association since it was chartered in 1947 1947Emil Emil Denemark of Chicago and Sam SamE E Pershall of Granite City were elected vicepresidents with Rose Jordan as secre ¬ tary taryFrank Frank E Butzow and Vincent BMullins were reelected as directors Del W Car ¬ roll is a new director Holdover members of the board of directors are E H Mc Mahon Charles C Miller B R Janota Harold W Ostle William A Mikel and Paul Serdar the latter now chairman of the Illinois Racing Board BoardOn On a motion by Butzow the breeders adopted a resolution congratulating Gov ¬ ernor Stratton on his appointment of Ser ¬ dar a former president of the association as head of the racing board
