Judge Watkins Approves Dates For Wheelings Summer Meet MeetWHEELING WHEELING W Va June 10 A 61day summer racing meeting which will open on July 18 and run through September 26 at Wheeling Downs has been approved by Judge Harry E Watkins of the US Federal Court at Fairmont W Va VaWheeling Wheeling attorney Carl O Schmidt re ¬ ceiver for the Wheeling Downs Racing Association said today Judge Watkins authorized him to announce the approval and advised a formal order to that effect will be entered on June 15 in Federal Court at Fairmont FairmontBut But Judge Watkins reserved the right to close the track at any time with or with ¬ out cause All of the property of track owner Wil ¬ liam G Lias has been placed under Federal receivership pending settlement of a 3000000 income tax claim against Lias
