Whiskery Became Saddle Horse CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville, Ky., May 6. — H. P. Whitneys Whiskery, winner of the 1927 Kentucky Derby, was used as a saddle horse by Charles A. Stone, of Charlottesville, Va., after the horse was retired from racing. •
