HEAD PLAY AT JAMAICA NEW YORK, N. Y., May 15.— Head Play, winner of the Preakness Stakes at Baltimore, arrived at Jamaica Monday morning in charge of Cliff Porter, assistant to trainer T. P. Hayes. Head Play was accompanied by the veteran campaigner The Nut and shipped up from Baltimore in good condition after a fast trip. Mrs. Silas Mason, who owns the colt, in a telephone conversation with racing secretary Joe McLennan, stated that she was anxious to help racing in New York and that she believed in shipping the colt to fulfill his engagement in the Wood Memorial, New Yorkers would be given an opportunity of judging hie real worth. Local horsemen were enthusiastic in praising the sportsmanship of Mrs. Mason *" shipping Head Play here and he is a certain starter over any kind of going. Trainer T. P. Hayes is due here today and will supervise the colt in his private trials before the race.
