BOSSIE EYE, rated in close attendance of the pace for the first quarter mile, moved up on the Inside in the back stretch and, drawing into a long lead rounding the far turn, won easily. MISS JOHNSTON, taken in hand in the run through the back stretch, closed willingly and outfinished LOMMERN. The latter, well placed throughout, tired in the stretch run. WILD LAUREL was away slowly and made up ground. CONACHER had brief early speed. CAP PISTOL moved up rounding the far turn, then quit badly. Scratched— 12868 Stone Chatter, 102. DON CARLOS, well placed, raced wide entering the stretch, then tired badly. HEY KELLY sprinted into a long early lead, but quit badly in the stretch. ALDERSHOT moved up threateningly entering the stretch, then tired. LITTLE JAY saved ground all the way and had no excuse. SURLY had early speed, but quit badly and was pulled up. LANADLER raced evenly. RED VAMP quit badly after racing a half mile. BARE TIMBER had early speed and quit entering the stretch, then was pulled up.
