MAECLOUD, rated back of the leaders until nearing the final turn, moved forward readily, overhauled YELLOW TULIP entering the stretch and came away stoutly when kept under urging. YELLOW TULIP stalled off stout contention from ZOSTERA in the first seven-eighths, saved ground, but was unable to stay with the winner while holding on gamely. BAIN MARIE, rated early, came with good energy in the final drive. DISSEMBLER finished with good courage after being outrun. ZOSTERA forced a steady pace but was unable to stay. TRINA broke poorly and closed a good gap. UGIN tired after seven-eighths. BEWITCHED was never a thre?t. Overweight — Maccloud. 2 pout.ds.
