TV Championship Golf1 Set for Tarn OShanter May to Sponsor Big-Name Shows From Famous Club June 7-Aug. 30 Starting June 7 and continuing through August 30, "Championship Golf" will be telecast via NBC WNBQ-TV from Tarn OShanter Country Club, Niles, HI. George S. May, golf impresario and promoter of the fabulous Tam OShanter tournaments, through the George S. May Company, again will be the sponsor. Each Tuesday evening, starting at 10:30, from five to seven holes of par-three golf will be played by two leading professionals and two leading amateurs. The low professional on each hole will receive 5 and at the end of the program the low medal professional will receive 00. The other professional will receive 0. The amateurs will receive token merchandise prizes. Just a few of the professionals that will | appear on the show will be Bob Toski, , Lloyd Mangrum and Lew Worsham. With Norm Barry narrating, "Championship Golf" indeed will be a championship . telecast. These par-three holes will be played [ around the 18th green where space has ; been provided for live audience participation. . Matt Niesen, the producer, has many r ideas and plans that will prove of interest i to all golfers.
