BANK COAL made the pace while in hand, saved ground, rallied when headed in the final furlong to come again and outfinished THREE CUBS. The latter was never far back, moved up strongly on the outside to wrest command a furlong away and appeared to hang slightly in the closing strides. SKY FAITH had no apparent excuse in an even effort. UNCLE LEO was new a serious factor. LEGATE raced slightly wide and faltered in the final drive. KENTUCKY HOME was through early. CHANSON restrained off the pace to the final turn where he was sent up on the outside to wear down the leaders in midstretch and prevail in a sustained drive. BANJOIST, slow to settle in stride, circled his field when rallying on the second turn and finished full of run. LEONGS found his best stride too late while racing wide. UTOPIA flattened out after making a strong bid from the outside on the second turn. INSOMNIA saved ground and tired from his early efforts. THALES was through early. Scratched-472561 Cant OMar, 120.
