ECOMA, rushed into contention and kept under hard pressure, wore RENTUCKY LAD down steadily and. under severe urging, just lasted to stall off THE TOP. The latter, outrun early, finished resolutely on the outside, raced gieen and swerved repeatedly in the stretch. KENTUCKY LAD had good speed for half a mile and tired wheu put to a drive. CHANNING L., away quickly, was taken under restraint and reserved until reaching the stretch; was shaken up and, finishing with good speed, wore FRENCH LASS down to get up in the last twenty yards. FRENCH LASS followed under slight restraint in pursuit of CIRCLLET. disposed of the latter when ready, hut was unable to withstand the winners rush.
