GAFFSMANS FAST WORK HOMEWOOD. 111., June 27— Gaffsman showed a fast trial during the afternoon when he galloped a mile and a quarter in 2:06, in very handy manner. The first mile was in 1 :40. He carried a heavy exercise boy in hi* trial, the weight probahly totaling 135 pounds.
