Start sood and slow. Won easily; second and third driving. CROYItEN was taken back of the leaders, was rated along under steady restraint, moved up fast in the stretch and wore down the leader and drew away. DRAWING BOARD was rushed into the lead after the start, saved ground and held on gamely to the end. SPECTACULAR, a factor throughout, raced close up and had no excuses. GADALONG, outrun to the stretch turn, gained some ground over tired horses. BLABBER raced evenly throughout. ATHEL was eased up when he tired. 3 QC1 CrT SECOND RACE— About 2 Miles. HILLOCK was rated along under steady restraint, jumped well throughout and responded gamely in the final eighth and held his opponents safe. FIRE FIGHTER jumped well throughout, moved up gamely on the final turn of the field and closed gamely. YOUNG PRINCE was weakly ridden throughout, swerved in and out and tired at the end. The latter was bumped and pinched back at the start, improved her position with a rush and finished well. BLUSTERY showed a good performance for three-quarters. VOTE YES quit badly and was eased up.
