Simpson, Jr., and Rams-head jumpers to Woodbine Park In Toronto, Canada. It is likely that a half dozen will included in the shipment. W. L. Brodie, who has been faithful to Canadian racing, will again enter the Do- t minion with a string of seven that he will j campaign throughout the summer. The Brodie outfit will entrain direct for Thorn- f cliffe Park. a Matt Smart, who is training eighteen per- i: is formers, will forsake the metropolitan tracks t for a season of racing in Canada. Smart, who has met with good success as a trainer, * will ship those owned by Breckinridge Long, T. Grayson and R. S. Clarke. Jockey Earl Sande has been engaged to ride him in his engagement here. John Turner distributed among the horsemen the condition books for the Thorncliffe meeting. Some of the more prominent sta-. bles racing here have arranged to ship a division of their stables to race at Woodbine and Thorncliffe. Racing secretary Edward J. Brennan stated today that he will have M. Shea and William Doyle here Monday to accept en-. tries for the Hagerstown meeting, which opens Tuesday. Brennan will be at Hagers-; town until after entries close, when he will motor back here to help make the Charity race program a success. A sale of horses in training will be held in the paddock at 11 a. m. tomorrow. Jockeys Alfred Robertson, Johnny Bej-r shak and Eddie Watters came down from New York to ride Acautaw, Ilchester and Cattail, respectively, in the Pimlico Nursery. Trainer Clyde Phillips brought William Ziegler, Jr.s Cattail down from New York for the Nursery. He will ship the two-year-1 old back to New York Wednesday morning. S. W. Labrots Dinah Did Upset foaled a filly by Sir Greysteel at Hollywood Beach Farm. Anthony Pelleteri of New Orleans, who witnessed the Kentucky Derby last week, returned here Tuesday. The division of the W. S. Kilmer stable racing at Pimlico will be shipped back to the farm at the conclusion of the Pimlico meeting. Elmer Trueman is also shipping to the Parr farm, near Laurel, some day next week, Secretary of the Connaught Park Jockey Club, Tommy Gorman, wishes to emphasize the fact that he has received positive as-■- surance from both the immigration and the customs departments at Ottawa that the horsemen shipping into Canada will not be interfered with in any way and they and their employes will be allowed to come in as in the past. Tick On and Lucky Tom were unloaded about noon Monday after a safe trip from Churchill Downs. Both horses will remain here to fill their engagements in the Preak- ness Saturday. John Curry and a party of friends stopped over on their trip from Louisville to New York to take in the afternoons sport at Pimlico. Hank Mills, who came down from New York to ride Blenheim in the Dixie, left Monday night for New York. The following ruling was issued by the stewards following the sixth race Monday: "Jockey H. Callahan has been suspended for the remainder of the meeting for foul rid-r- ing in the sixth race and also denied the privilege of the enclosure during racing hours." By Order of the Stewards,
