HILDUR ROCK, close up from the start, moved up fast in the final quarter, swerved to the inside and impeded SYM JACK, LEE GOLD and JACKKNIFE and drawing into a good lead, just lasted. OLD JUDGE was taken to the outside with difficulty in the stretch, closed well and was wearing down the winner. LEE GOLD met interference in the stretch. AMERICAN PRINCE raced well. SIMON finished fast. JACKKNIFE and SYM JACK were crowded back when the winner bore in entering the closing ciehth.
