SUNNY SIDEUP raced well and closed gamely. LADY WESTY saved ground in the stretch. GO EASY gained steadily. CRUCIAL TEST went wide on the Stretch turn and tired badly. THOMAS SETH, never far back, overtook SCONE an eighth out and took a good lead, but was under Urging at the end to hold FORTUNATE MANN. The latter, on the outside most of the way, was in trouble on the stretch turn, but finished fastest of all. MAILLIW began well, but was outrun earlv and finished gamely. SCONE set the pace. AURICA and HAL DWYER showed early speed. LA COMPERE met interference and was never dangerous. JOAN PAT closed with a rush. Scratched— 70041 J.
