WIRE WALKER tired under pressure. DUNBAR was shuffled back soon after the start. POSTPONEMENT raced well. IRISH KNIGHT was placed on the outside at the start. WATSONIA jumped sidewise in the early racing, but improved his position on the final turn of the field and, withstanding a long drive, outlasted FAIR MOSS in the final strides. The latter, under restraint until called upon, moved up resolutely under urging, but landed badly at the final fence and came again. WHAT HAVE YOU jumped green, but showed a fair performance. BLABBER dropped back early and closed a gap at the end. PORTRAIT was close up early. BAGATELLE lost ground at several fences. SHYLOCK landed poorly at the seventh obstacle and quit thereafter.
