BRADLEY STAKE ELIGIBLES Owner of Idle Hour Farm Well Represented in Clipsetta Stakes and Cincinnati Trophy. LATONIA, Ky.t June 16. The horses of Edward R. Bradley should play an important part in the thirty-one days of spring racing starting here, Saturday, June 25. Although the owner of the Kentucky Derby and Preakness winner, Burgoo King, will not have a starter in the Latonia Oaks, he is the most liberal nominator for the other six stakes to be decided during the long meeting. However, his leadership is mostly due to his subscriptions to the Clipsetta Stakes and Cincinnati Trophy, both two-year-old affairs. Colonel Bradley named four fillies for the ,000 added dash that features the opening days program, while he has eight eligibles to the Trophy. Unless his Boy Crazy, which won her initial race in her third start at Aqueduct recently, is a filly of the first class, she will find stubborn opposition in the Clip- setta Stakes. The best fillies to show in the West are eligible for the stake and from all indications the record held jointly by T. M. Green and Colonel Bradleys Bradleys Peggy, will be equalled or broken in the golden jubilee running of the stake. Boy Crazy is by the Latonia Derby winner, Broadway Jones and from Ethel Dear, which finished third in the 1926 Clipsetta. The Bradley racers should make their strongest bid in the Trophy. Broad Hill, which carried his colors into second place in the Curran Memorial, and Ballygran, considered one of the best western two-year-olds, will have strong support from Bobbing, a winner at Lexington; Bronze Saint, Boilermaker, Brokers Tip, Below Cost and Beefsteak. Bar Hunter, a consistent winner at Washington Park, is named for the Independence and Enquirer Handicaps, while Broad Meadows is an eligible for the Quick Step Handicap. With the ill-fated Burgoo King out of the Latonia Derby, Colonel Bradley will be called upon to rely on Bubble Up, a son of North Star III. and Beaming Beauty. A majority of the stake eligibles are in the Western division, trained by William Hurley, but Dick Thompson is expected to send his eligibles to Kentucky when he ships the Eastern division from Belmont to Arlington Park.
