ARLINGTON PROGRAM BOOK Covering First Ten Days of Racing Distributed Among Horsemen. a Eight Kilmer Horses Now at Track North-way Stable Expected Next Week Schooling Begins Monday. ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, 111., June 16 Program books for the first ten days of racing of the Arlington Park meeting, which opens Monday, June 27, have been issued by racing secretary Joseph McLennan and are now being distributed to horsemen. The books containing the lists of eligibles for the thirty stakes to be decided during the meeting, will be available early next week. An average daily distribution of more than 1,000 is indicated. Eight horses owned by Willis Sharpe Kilmer, of Binghamtbn, N. Y., arrived at Arlington Wednesday from New York and they will be joined by the division now at Washington Park. Jack Whyte brought the horses from New York and the band was headed by Suntica, winner of the Kentucky and Illinois Oaks and a candidate for the Arlington Oaks to be run Saturday, July 2. Others in the shipment were Dark Mist, Gift Magic, Dark Fey, Sun Pantica, Dark Colleen, JDark Roma and Mintwina. The Northway Stable of Norman W. Church has reserved fifteen stalls at Arlington Park and is expected to move there next week. Plucky Play, which is being made ready for engagements in the Stars and Stripes and Arlington Handicaps and Arlington Gold Cup, heads the consignment, but others in the string include North Galis, promising juvenile son of Sir Gallahad LXL and Fasnet, which is a candidate for the Hyde Park Stakes and Arlington Futurity. One of the larger stables to be raced at Arlington is that of Albert Sabath and Jake Xiowenstein, comprising eighteen head, of which I Say, an Arlington Oaks eligible; First Vote, Olive Sabath and Doris Jean are the best known. Stabling accommodations for fourteen horses have been granted to John Marsch, local sportsman whose stable is trained by Phil Reuter. Camp Boss and Prince Athel-ing are included in the band. J. H Manheimer is another Chicago owner whose horses will participate at Arlington. Mowris heads his string of six horses. George D. Wideners Evening, a candidate for the Arlington Oaks to be run Saturday, July 2, was transferred to Arlington Park Thursday morning by trainer Bert Mulhol-land and, with the track in fast condition, the Florida Derby and Chesapeake Stakes winner indulged in a brisk workout during the afternoon. Starter Roy Dickerson announced that he would begin schooling at Arlington Park Monday morning. Later next week he will be assisted by Eddie Thomas, John Mor-rissey and Joe Nelson, who will be members of his ground crew. The Bahr starting machine will be in readiness for the schooling sessions.
