WINOOKA REMAINS IN WEST SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., Aug. 8. Winooka, the champion miler of Australia, will not go to Chicago as at first planned. Instead the horse was shipped from Tan-foran yesterday evening for Seattle, where he will meet Onrush and possibly Quick-away, the sprint champions of the Pacifio Coast spring and summer meetings, in match races at the Long Acres track. The owners of Winooka have offered to bet 0,000 that their horse can beat Equipoise over a short distance.
