PAYS 0,000 FOR DOGMATA ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, 111., July 14.— One of the most important sales negotiated this season was closed today when Alfred Gwynne Vanderbilt purchased the three-year-old, Dogmata, from H. C. McConnell for the reported price of 0,000. This latest acquisition to the Vanderbilt string will go East with Discovery, which will be sent to Saratoga following his engagement in the Classic. Jockey J. Bejshak, rider for the Vanderbilt Stable, will also leave for the Spa.
