OFFICIAL STAFF FOR 1 RHODE ISLAND TRACK j » -i ARLINGTON HEIGHTS 111., July 14.— Edward J. OHara, president of the Nar-ragansett Jockey Club, who arrived late Friday, was out to the course early Saturday morning and was amazed at the size and beauty of Arlington Park. During his stay here Mr. OHara will be enlightened on all the late innovations which have been installed at Arlington, and also plans to visit Hawthorne to witness the newly installed electric eye timing device, which will will be used at the Cicero course during its next meeting. OHara intends to modernize the Pawtucket plant in every possible manner, and keep his purse offerings on a par with those outstanding throughout the country. After a lengthy conference with Jack B. Campbell, who will serve as racing secretary, and Pat Horgan, Campbells assistant, the list of officials for the coming meeting was completed and announced. The stewards will be S. C. Nuckols, George Brown. Jr. and Benjamin Laad Cook. Placing judges ] I 1 are P. C. Galliger, C. J. Fitz Gerald, Jr., and Howard Reynolds. The starter will be i Harry Morrissey, one of the best in the business. Paddock and patrol judge will be William Doyle, who has served in a similar capacity on some of Americas leading tracks. Ben Holmes, prominent turf official, will serve as timer and entry clerk. ; ; Secretary Campbell has given the copy for i ! the condition books to the printer, and they ! should be ready for distribution in a few days. i
