! 1 ROCKINGHAM PARK NOTES 1 The good handicap performer Speedmore, after working Friday morning, developed soreness and was withdrawn from the New Hampshire Handicap. Trainer C. Buxton, who came here to saddle the colt, will return to New York, accompanied by jockey F. Horn. Before leaving Buxton nominated Economic for the Hampton Cup Handicap, down for decision Saturday, July 21 at Rockingham Park. Dave Wilson will make the engagements for jockey "Sonny" Workman for the remainder of the Rockingham Park season. J. Eckert wired for stalls to care for the thoroughbreds he is shipping from Syracuse. Jockey Jimmie Burke, who has been absent from the saddle since his fall that proved fatal to Springsteel, will resume riding Monday. .Stake blanks for the forthcoming meeting at Narragansett Park, a* well as registration lists, were distributed among horsemen here Saturday by Ben Holmes. Eleven stakes, ranging in value from ,500 to ,500,. are to be decided during the twenty-nine days racing. The meeting will open August 1 and continues until September 3. Pat Brady is expected to arrive at Rockingham Park Sunday with Bally Bay and three others that he is bringing on" from New York. Weights for the White Mountain Handicap, feature of next Wednesdays racing at Rockingham will be announced Saturday.
