PEGGY CAN was in close quarters on the far turn, but moved up on the inside on the far turn and finished gamely. CHANCABIT showed a good performance. TIPOYER, fractious at the barrier, was away well, but was in close quarters in the stretch. The latter, never far back, disposed of MOIRAS BOY soon after the final eighth, hut could not withstand the winner. MOIRAS BOY moved into the lead with a rush, but weakened right at the end. GAME had no excuses. TOCAYA and KANAL lacked speed in the final stages.
