REFUSE ON SIRS ENTRY DETROIT, Mich., July 19.— After G. Boy-kichs On Sir had shown improvement in winning the seventh race at Detroit, Wednesday, the stewards called trainer J. S. Carlson before them this morning. Judge J. A. Murphy, presiding steward, issued the following statement and ruling today after hearing Carlson: "The stewards had J. S. Carlson, trainer of On Sir, before them, asking for an explanation of the sudden improvement of the horse in his race Wednesday. The only excuse offered was that the horses teeth had been in bad shape and had been cared for by a veterinarian since his last race and that the horse, which has bad ankles, had worked well two days ago. The stewards have decided to refuse the horses entry in the future and the case will remain opt*n pending the report on the saliva test made after Wednesdays race."
