1 EMPIRE CITY TURF NOTES ] Jockey E. Kummer was suspended for the remainder of the meeting for an unsatisfactory ride on Xandra in the final race Wednesday. Jockey E. Litzenberger was thrown from Little Argo when he came back to the scales after the first race Thursday. The two-year-old reared suddenly and caught the boy unprepared. He was unhurt. Before the first race Desperado and Tangerloo, which were excluded from the first race Thursday, were worked a half mile in :49. Clarence Buxton brought out J. H. Louch-heims good colt, Economic, before the first race and he was sent along for a mile in 1:41%, being eased up at the end of the work. It was sn impressive move, but he came out of the exercise decidedly sore.
