BLESSED EVENT FALLS ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, 111., July 19.— The Corsicana Stables Blessed Event became so tired during a workout between races in the slow going, which he does not fancy, he fell down but apparently without injuring either himself or the exercise boy. He began his trial at the seven-eighths post and went the first quarter in :25. half mile In :50?5, and three-quarters in 1:17. There-■ after he tired perceptibly and with his rider urging him, went the seven furlongs in 1:32% and was continuing out the mile when the mishap occurred. He is a candidate for the Arlington Handicap, to be run Saturday. The Calumet Farms Count Rae came out of his race Wednesday very lame and will be away from the races for some time.
