GOOD HARVEST, much the best, overcame interference on the turn and, going around the others enter-in; the stretch, wore down the leaders and won in hand. MR. MACK, never far back, closed resolutely, but was overmatched. CHIEF EVERGREEN closed a gap in a good perfoimance. WHITE GINGER tired after showing speed to the stretch and finished in close quarters. TEAROUT quit after taking the lead. ALL BAYS dwelt at the start, but closed a big gap in a splendid performance. The others were outrun. Scratched— 98922 Saractus, 110; 99214 Knave, 116. FAB moved up fast after a half mile, offered strong contention, but faltered in the final strides. WATERSPLASH went well. NEEDLE gave a poor performance and can do better. SLIM ROSIE quit. The latter, much improved and close up throughout, challenged gamely, but was not good enough. INTERIOR, never far back, showed good form. WESTIRE quit. TEMPLE DANCER showed poor form. TROFORD and SCANDAL SHEET bad no mishaps.
