WHITNEY LEXINGTON VISITOR LEXINGTON, Ky., July 25— C. V. Whitney flew to Lexington Tuesday from New York. Maj. Louis A. Beard, manager of the Whitney breeding and racing interests, met him and took him to the farm. Thomas J. Healey had arrived earlier by train. The trio put in the remainder of the day inspecting the yearlings, stallions, mares and foals at the famous nursery. Mr. Whitney will return by plane to New York today. Major Beard and trainer Healey will go to Chicago for the remainder of the meeting at Arlington Park, which closes Saturday. The Whitney yearlings are now being broken at the farm, where there is a training stable and track completed last year. *
