FLASHING THRU REPEATER » ■ Wins Again at Bainbridge Park — Altmark Finishes Second. ♦ Geauga Lake Course at Its Bsst — The French Kose Accounts for Opening Race of Day. GEAUGA LAKE, Ohio, July 25.— Repeating his recent sterling performance here T. J. Dcbords Flashing Thru led by a comfortable margin at all stages of the Lake Shore Hotel Handicap, fifth and featured event at Bainbridge Pari; this afternoon. B. Maziels Altmark raced to second place, with Hell Diver third. The five and a half furlongs was run in 1:05%, a new track record. Behind the winner Otterrop. Altmark, Wise Money and Hell Diver were closely bunched in closest pursuit for half the distance. Entering the stretch Altmark drew clear of the others, but at the end had to be shaken up to save second. Hell Diver came again in the last furlong, finishing strongly and wearing Altmark down. Otterrop tired steadily in the run home. Shuffle Off wheeled around the stall gate as the start came. The track was at its best and the attendance was up to standard. Jockey F. A. Smith hustled The French Rose to the front shortly after the start and retained a comfortable lead thereafter in the opening dash. Never far back from the leaders, Long John held on long enough to gain second place from the resolutely-finishing Rosy Dreams, which saved ground during the stretch run. Noon Play, close up in the early stages, weakened at the end. Jockey B. Myres escaped injury when unseated from Emmaline H. in the first quarter. With the running of the second race came one of the most exciting finishes of the afternoon when the three placed horses reached the finish in close alignment. Trying and Smiling Moon were prominent from the start, and Smiling Mobn eventually outlasted the former by a head. Vladimir finished fastest of all near the end to finish a close third. Gertrude V. went well to the stretch. Taking command after going the first quarter Supercharge, lightly regarded and grouped in the field, drew away into a decisive lecd approaching the turn for home in the third, arid she retained her advantage all through the stretch. Minnie Belle, a forward factor throughout, held the resolutely-finishing Mac Moon safe for second honors. Morheart, the favorite, was prominent in the early stages, but tired badly in the stretch. *
