The latter, close up from the start, improved her position in the stretch, but failed to hold GOOD DAME. MAPLE SUE, shuffled back on the far turn, came again in the drive. The latter began slowly, but reached contention under strong urging, and moved up fast aandter being shuffled back. BRIGHT BUBBLE saved ground after being outrun for half a mile and finished gamely. DARK MIST could not reach the leaders. LE BRUYERE quit badly in the drive. BURGOO had no mishaps. LAZI CANTER bled after reaching the stretch and was pulled up. Scratched-99149 War Pledge, 105.
