RAIN STAR went to the front at once and, well rated, was never headed, winning easily. PLUM ELECTED was badly outrun to the stretch, then came very fast on the outside and might have won had lie made his move sooner. MOONEYBROOK displayed speed while being forced to race wide and went well to the end. OUR HARRY was in close quarters on the far turn and showed a creditable effort. REGREBTAN was shut off on the far turn and was never dangerous thereafter. NYDIA tired badly. BERNARD was never a dangerous contender. JANE OMINE was off poorly. Scratched Dasniercs, 105. ROTHERHAM, though a trailer in the early stages, was never far behind and, coming fast on the outside through the stretch, got to the front near the end to win going away. HOWDEN, well up from the start, was in close quarters in the stretch, but raced well to the finish. COLOR BELL displayed good speed and held on fairly well. KOOTENAY BELLE, timidly ridden, was taken up several times and might have won under stronger handling. HADAGE tired in the stretch. THIRD RACE 3-4 MILE. Black Board, Dec. 4, 1934 1:10 5 105. ROYAL CHEF saved ground on the stretch turn, but was in the deepest going in the run home. PLENTY GOLD tired badly after making a strong move approaching the stretch turn. KING CARESS tired badly. JEANNETTE K. was outrun to the last quarter, then saved much ground around the stretch turn, but was in the worst going in the run home. DROLE POLLY could not keep up. AMY COOPER showed good speed in setting the pace and, while unable to resist the winner, held on fairly well. IKARD made up some ground. SPOILT BEAUTY raced well up on the outside. LOUIE DEAR was outrun all the way and was never dangerous. MORALE was in close quarters after going half the trip. RACCOON made up much ground in the stretch. Scratched 08843 Society Talk, 103.
