REUTER KEEPING- ONLY SIX ARLINGTON, Texas, April 9. Phil Reu-ter has sold several of the thoroughbreds in his stable at private sale. Cooley went to Dick Pending and Dis Dat to Haughton Brownlee, while Virginella has been sent to Kentucky for breeding. Reuter lost Smooth Crossing in a track mishap, while Phyllis R. and Golden Fate were claimed from him. He plans to dispose of all the thoroughbreds in his stable but six, Roman Soldier, Plight, Keep Out, Laura S., Kozak and West Main. He has three thoroughbreds in Maryland and a quartet of two-year-olds under the care of Tommy Beets in Kentucky.
