BILLY I. a strong factor from the start, saved ground throughout, but weakened after improving his position., ROSY DOON raced wide and showed a good effort. PHYLLIS R. had no mishaps. SANGREAL, away slowlyj and on the outside throughout, closed with a rush.BUSBY had no mishaps. MISS DISTURB showed green;, ness and was outrun. OLIVE O. showed speed. FRIEND JOHN, under strong handling from the start, reached the lead nearing the final three-eighths, responded to strong urging in the stretch and outfinished LAMP BLACK. The latter, weakly ridden and on the outside, lost ground entering the stretch, came fast when straightened and just failed to get up. TWO TRICKS, used up setting the pace, tired in the last stages. WILLIAM C, well up from the start, tired after improving his position. RUNY BEAN, fractious at the post, began from outside the gate, came to the inside for the drive and was blocked when improving her position. HAIR TRIGGER tired after causing interference in the .last eighth. CLOISTER BLUES quit. HOT SHOT bled. Overweight Runy Bean, 2 pounds; Centennial, 1; Rayleen, 4. LADY FEDERAL, under good urging while reaching the lead, drew clear after disposing of SUGAR JAR, tired fast in the last stages, but outfinished PLAYING ON. The latter, a strong factor from the start, held on well. DARK SEEKER and SUGAR JAR tired. BY PRODUCT, forced to ease when in close quarters on the far turn, made up ground when clear.
