1 LOUISVILLE TURF NOTES Frederick M. Grabner, who won the 1929 American Derby with Windy City, and Mrs. Grabner were here Sunday from Chicago. They spent some time at Churchill Downs where they inspected the three head Phil Reilly is training for them. Spanish Babe, star of the trio, is one of the ranking candidates for the Kentucky Oaks. Max Hirsch Sunday advised his son, W J Hirsch, that he expected to unload the big string he wintered at Columbia, S. C. in New York this week. Good Flavor, a candidate for the-Kentucky DerTjy, will be included in the shipment. The younger Hirsch has eight at Churchill Downs. Stalls for the E. Sachsenmaier stable Tommy Taylor returned from a brief vacation at French Lick and resumed charge of the stable of Mrs. Silas B. Mason here. During his absence his brother Walter was in command.
