1 NEW YORK TURF NOTES e 0 Linus McAtee will return to the saddle the opening day at Jamaica. He will ride the Brookmeade Stables Psychic Bid in the Paunonok Handicap. Jockey Harry Richards arrived from California and reported to Clyde Phillips, trainer for W. R. Coe, for whom he will ride this season. Two car loads of horses owned by the Maemere Farm and others in charge of George. Phillips arrived at Belmont Park front Columbia, S. C. William Ziegler, Jr., was a Belmont Park visitor Thursday and inspected the horses which John Schorr has in training for him. The G. D. Widener horses, in charge of A. J. Joyner, are expected from Erdenheim Farm near Philadelphia Thursday. The stable at Belmont Park has been in readiness for some time. Jockey Earl Porter was instructed to report to trainer Brennan to ride, Sailor Beware in the Paumonok Saturday.
