1 LEXINGTON TURF N0TES1 s Harry S. Hart arrived Saturday night at Leo J. Marks Le Mar Stock Farm here, bringing along the stable which he campaigned for Mr. Marks during the winter in California and Texas. After a few days at .the farm, where he probably will be joined by the owner, he expects to get away for Detroit with a carload of horses. The horses which trainer Hart brought to Le Mar Farm were Marooner, Marmara, Mymiss, Marson, Marconna, Must Be, Mottled, Maidens Dream, Moreanmore, San Luis Rey and the recently purchased Polly Keys, which is to be retired for breeding purposes. Marooned was quite sick when taken off the train and is not yet out of danger. W. C. Stroube, Texas breeder and owner, has leased from Jay D. Weil a portion of Walnut Springs Farm and will pasture there nine horses which have been temporarily retired from training and sent here for a rest. Stroube sent two men from Texas to take care of the horses while they are turned out. Hal Price Headley, after a brief stay in the East with his stable, is in Lexington busying himself with the work of preparing for the impending drive to raise the capital necessary for the proposed track at J. O. Keenes Keenelahd. Mr. Headley is president of the Keeneland Association and is directing the campaign, which will be undertaken as soon as formal approval of the project has been granted by the Securities and Exchange Commission. 1
