SYLVESTERS RIDING FEATURE DAYTON Ohio June 18 The impressive victory of James Evans Ingle Nook in the fifth and feature race the success of trainer E J Wood and the riding of Joe Sylvester featured Tuesdays racing at the Dayton Fair Grounds Ingle Nook Sylvesters sec ¬ ond winning mount of the day came from last place through the muddy going to win going away from Chunk Kathryn Wattle and four others which raced over the six and one half furlongs Sylvester previously had ridden R P Gillettes June G to vic ¬ tory Trainer Wood saddled both winners in the Daily Double Jadbalja for W A Hunter in the second and Customer for L Seymour in the third Rain fell for the running of the first race but later it cleared off some and the crowd though not as large as some of the previous ones still was of generous proportions
